They pretty much run on time good bus service the only thing complaining about it they charge too much compared to Allegheny Transit Authority
I am very pleased with the service. It definitely saves money, I can read or nap instead of driving through traffic. The people taking the express bus are friendly and quiet on the bus. The ones taking the Route 1 local are a little more rowdy. I feel safe and comfortable on either route.
I have been riding the BCTA to and from work in downtown Pittsburgh four days a week for several years. I usually take the Route 3 express bus from Rochester, but sometimes I sleep in and take the 7:30 AM Route 1. On the way home I take the Route 3 express.
Gets you where you need to be, if that place happens to be on their limited routs. Busses come every hour. Would be great if they could come every half-hour.
The blatant disrespect of signs-- no smoking signs and smoking anyway I have had it!!! I am going to start searching for names people will be getting Sued! I missed my bus due to the fact of the smoking in the areas where it specifically says no smoking the bus driver had the door closed so I sat and waited until she opened it in the past close doors meant you could not get on open doors welcome passengers she saw us and still pulled off anyway
